Trout Almondine

Ingredients

  • 1 lb raw trout

  • 1 Tbsp oil

  • 2 Tbsp butter

  • ¾ c slice almonds

Directions

Preheat oven to 450. Add oil to baking dish and heat in oven 5 minutes. While oil is heating, use a small pan to saute almonds in butter until they just start to brown a little. Add trout to oil in baking pan and top with butter almond mixture. Bake 8-10 minutes, then serve with a Bristol Valley Vidal Blanc.
